This morning I went down to Exmouth to look for a Firecrest and I spent 2 hours there looking for it but in all that time I only got 3 brief views of it and I heard it on call a few times . Also seen was my first Eurasian Sparrowhawk of the year , numerous Great Tit , 20+ Long-Tailed Tit , 2 Goldcrest and a Common Chiffchaff .
I then had a look around the marina area of Exmouth for Black Redstart but I had no luck but this juvenile Eurasian Sparrowhawk showed very well .
