I was very lucky to get very late views of the adult Gull-Billed Tern on Bowling Green Marsh in Topsham this evening around 9pm , Thanks Keith .

Another look at the Bowling Green Marsh this morning again didn`t turn up much at all with just 4 Mediterranean Gull`s of different ages , 5 Whimbrel , 3 Bar-Tailed Godwit , 3 House Martin & a single Fox

Puffin
As it was blowing a bit when I woke up this morning I went down to Orcombe Point at Exmouth to do a sea watch but it didn`t turn up much at all with the best birds being a Puffin that was sat on the sea ( The first one that I have seen for quite a while ) & a single Manx Shearwatwer that was heading east !
Other birds seen were numerous Gannet , around 10 Kittiwake & 5 Shag , I then stopped of at Bowling Green Marsh on the way home where there was 4 Sandwich Tern`s in with the numerous gulls .

Not Much About !!!!
This Great Spotted Woodpecker was outside of my house first thing this morning & yesterday it was feeding on my lawn , later I went to Bowling Green Marsh to catch the early morning tide but the best I saw on the marsh were 2 Whimbrel , a Knot & a 1st Summer Mediterranean gull .

Osprey
On Bowling Green Marsh early this morning there was 2 Avocet , 6 Whimbrel , 6 Dunlin , 3 Mediterranean Gull`s = 2 second summer birds & 1 first summer , also seen was a Roe Deer that popped out a the reeds for a short while .
In the afternoon I went for a walk with my grandson down to the Turf Hotel & found this Osprey out over the Exe Estuary , the bird then headed over the Exminster Marshes until it was lost from view .

Dartmoor
A look around Sousens today with Andy Bond in superb weather got us 4 Redstart , 2 male & 2 female , 2 Jay , a Wood Warbler , 4 Cuckoo , 2 Whinchat , a single Spotted Flycatcher , 2 Raven & a singing Garden Warbler ..... also seen was a Beautiful Demoiselle , a Broad Bodied Chaser & a Small Heath Butterfly .
