Broadsands

This morning Andy Bond and myself made the trip down to Broadsands in South Devon and we had quite a good days birding as we saw all of the birds that we hoped for ! we had a look around the edges of the car park first and we saw a smart Firecrest and the illusive Yellow-Browed Warbler , we then had a look for Cirl Bunting one of the gems of the South West and we were lucky to see a few of them .
We then did a bit of a sea watch and managed to see the following , 1 Great Northern Diver , a few Great Crested Grebe , 4 Black-Necked Grebe , 2 Velvet Scoter and 2 Northern Fulmar , our last stop of the day was at the Burma Star Memorial Garden in Paignton where we saw a female Black Redstart and 4 male Blackcap .
