Bowling Green Marsh

I had a look around the Bowling Green Marsh area this morning and started off at Goosemoor but it was low tide so the only birds that I saw were 20 Northern Lapwing , I also saw the following Butterflies , Ringlet , Meadow Brown , Large Skipper and Gatekeeper.
On then to Bowling Green Marsh where they have started work on putting a scrape in front of the hide ! I don't know if they know what a scrape is as it looks like they have dug out the Mariana Trench lol but perhaps we should wait until the finished article lol  , the only things that I saw on the marsh today was a Great Spotted Woodpecker . a Eurasian Nuthatch and a Green-Veined White Butterfly and a look at the Clyst Estuary got me a Common Kingfisher .
