The Stover Country Park

A trip out this morning before the rain started again ! to the Stover Country Park and it didn`t turn out to bad as I saw 4 male & 6 female Goosander , they stayed in the middle of the lake most of the time but just the once they came a bit closer allowing me to get this shot of one of the male birds .
Also seen was the first returning male Great Crested Grebe well that is what the warden told me anyway lol , 4 Nuthatch , 2 Green Woodpeckers , a Kingfisher , a single Marsh Tit , a male Bullfinch & quite a few Black-Headed Gull`s were hanging around where the people feed the ducks and this is a shot of one of the 1st winter birds .
