My look at Bowling Green Marsh today turned out a lot better than expected as from the hide I saw 13 Pied Avocet , and singles of Little Stint , Bar-Tailed Godwit , Ruff , Dunlin and a 3rd winter Mediterranean Gull .
I then went down to check out the bushes like I always do . Where I saw a Great Spotted Woodpecker , 2 Common Chiffchaff , 2 Grey Wagtail , 2 Common Raven , 3 Eurasian Jay , 6 Rook and a superb juvenile Osprey that suddenly appeared in front of me and stayed long enough for me to get these shots of it .
Also seen were 2 new moths for me with Satellite and Flounced Chestnut ( Thanks very much Martin for bringing them for me to look at ) .
