The American race of our Brent Goose the Black Brant was showing well this morning in a flock of 50+ Dark Bellied Brent Geese and a single Light Bellied Brent Goose at Dart`s Farm in Topsham but was always quite distant .
I then went and had a look at the River Clyst from Tremlett`s Boat Yard where I saw 2 Egyptian Geese , a Common Kingfisher and a Black Swan.....all the way from Oz perhaps lol , my last stop was at Bowling Green Marsh where around half a dozen Redwing and 2 Fieldfare were feeding on berries in the trees outside of the hide .
