Marsh Sandpiper

A dash down to Black Hole Marsh near Seaton this morning as news came out of a Marsh Sandpiper that was on show . I arrived to be told that the bird had not been seen for around half an hour . So I took a look around at the other birds. That included 2 Little Stint , Wood Sandpiper , Green Sandpiper , Common Sandpiper , Dunlin , Ringed Plover , Spotted Redshank , Common Greenshank , Water Rail and a fly over Osprey .

Then the Marsh Sandpiper came out into view that pleased everyone that was looking for it . I think this is only my second one in my home county of Devon so I was well chuffed😀

Also seen was a Wasp Spider the 1st one that I have seen for many years !
