Ruff

A look at Bowling Green Marsh in Topsham this morning got me 5 Ruff with 3 male and 2 female birds and it was so good to see them in nice plumage instead of the juvenile birds that we get later in the year , at first they were quite close to the hide but something spooked them and they then flew to the far side of the marsh , also seen were 20+ Dunlin in nice breeding plumage , and the following warblers ,  Common Whitethroat , Common Chiffchaff , European Reed Warbler and Cetti`s Warbler .
