Yarner Wood

A look at Yarner Wood on the edge of Dartmoor this morning got me 4 male and a female Mandarin Duck and also seen around the pond were a male and female Siskin and a Grey Wagtail , I then had a walk around the wood and saw 2 male Pied Flycatcher`s , 2 Nuthatch , 3 Mistle Thrush , a pair of Song Thrush , a Great Spotted Woodpecker and a Treecreeper was heard calling , on the drive back home I went across Chudleigh Knighton Heath where I saw a few Brimstone & a male Orange Tip butterflies .
