Serin

Early this morning at 7.15 I heard a Serin singing in the Topsham Cemetery ! I was pretty sure thats what it was but to make sure I went indoors & listend to the call on a cd to comfirm it & when I went back outside it was still singing , it had just started to rain but I got my camera & went into the cemetery to look for it I looked for it for quite a while but it wasn`t singing now & there was no sign of it anywhere , perhaps it moved on with the rain !!!!
I then had a look at Bowling Green Marsh where I saw the Bonaparte`s Gull & 2 Little Gull`s , onwards then to Exmouth where a seawatch got me 3 Roseate Tern , 10 Sandwich Tern , 6 Common Tern & numerous Gannet , the last stop was at Mudbank Lane in Exmouth & a look at the Exe Estuary got me 5 Scaup 1 male & 4 female also seen was this Little Egret , a good days birding !
