Great news this morning of a Stone Curlew found in the top fields near Orcombe Point in Exmouth & as the bird was an Exe Estuary tick for me ( missed the one at the Warren in 87 ) I shot down there as fast as I could & got great views of it sat in a ploughed field ( Thanks Mat ) , there was also half a dozen Wheatear in the same field , a look off the sea front in Exmouth got me 6 Sandwich Tern & a fly through Swallow .
I then went for a look at the Exminster Marshes but it was under water but I did see a lone Sand Martin & another Swallow .
