This morning on Bowling Green Marsh I saw the following birds . 2 Eurasian Spoonbill . 7 Cattle Egret . 4 returning Pied Avocet . Green Sandpiper . Common Sandpiper . a Spotted Redshank that was in with numerous Common Redshank . a Western Marsh Harrier . 10 Common Sand Martin and a single Stock Dove

Hot Hot Hot

 A look at Bowling Green Marsh this morning in baking heat got me 6 Cattle Egret , 2 Little Egret an adult Eurasian Spoonbill , Grey Heron , 60+ Eurasian Curlew , around a dozen Whimbrel and a single Spotted Redshank .

Also seen were the following Butterflies

Clouded Yellow ( My 1st of the year ) , Gatekeeeper , Large White and Small White .

Day Out

 This morning a trip down to Exmouth to look at Lyme Bay got me 12 Common Scoter , 5 Sandwich Tern , 5 European Shag and a single Northern Gannet .

Later in the day I had a look at Bowling Green Marsh and saw 2 European Spoonbill , a Stock Dove , 3 Spotted Redshank and 3 adult and 2 juvenile Mediterranean Gull .
