My look at Bowling Green Marsh from the hide today got me 5 Pied Avocet , a Red Knot and a Ruff , I then went down to the viewing platform area where I saw 2 Grey Wagtail , 2 Common Chiffchaff , 2 Eurasian Jay , a Great Spotted Woodpecker , a male Common Bullfinch and a Southern Hawker Dragonfly .
Back at home it turned out that I had caught 2 new moths for me with Lunar Underwing and a nice looking Long-Horned Flat-Body , also seen was a second generation Snout and a Common Marbled Carpet .
