Saturday 27th July

Out on a Pelagic from Penzance this morning with my mates Andy and Ken . We left around 6.30am and we were out for 6 hours , we went well out searching for birds but the weather has been so good not a lot has been blown in but we saw numerous Northern Gannet and Manx Shearwater , around 20+ Northern Fulmar , the bird of the day was European Storm Petrel and a few of them were seen and on the way back in we saw a juvenile Yellow-Legged Gull . Also seen were a few very nice Common Dolphin and a Sun Fish ....To sum it up we expected to see more out there but that`s birding for you , but in the end we still had a good day .
