About Me

My photo
Dave Stone
Hi I started birding in 1985 with the first bird seen being a Long Eared Owl , I have been lucky enough to have seen a few 1st for Britain including the Golden-Winged Warbler and to be in on the find of the Long-Billed Murrelet the 1st for Britain , and a Greater Sandplover that at the time was the 8th for Britain . I have birded abroad several times with the best being in Gambia , Australia & California ,Out of the birds that I have seen my favourite has to be a Light Mantled Sooty Albatross seen from a sea watch off of Bargara in Northern Queensland , Australia .
