A morning look around Bowling Green Marsh in Topsham didn't turn up much at all with only 3 Great Spotted Woodpecker , a male and female Blackcap , a single Common Chiffchaff , a Eurasian Nuthatch and 2 Eurasian Jay .
But this evening there was a Little Stint on the marsh that was showing on the nearside of the lake so it was always a bit distant but it still saved the days birding .
Also seen was a White Wagtail that landed on the roof of my house before flying off towards the Clyst Marshes , its the first one that I have seen in the garden .
