A Very Good Day

This morning I went down to Dawlish Warren for a look and it turned out to be a very good move as I saw 2 Great Crested Grebe and 2 Common Eider on the Warren side of Langstone Cliff and on the Dawlish side there were 2 Great Northern Diver and a Red-Throated Diver .
Then a look at the Exe Estuary from the railway crossing at Cockwood got me a Slavonian Grebe , a Little Grebe , 12 Dunlin , a Sanderling and a Common Ringed Plover . The day was finished off at Powderham Park with an Osprey that caught a fish from the lake and sat on a dead tree to eat it , there was also 10/15 Meadow Pipit , 5 Yellow Wagtail and 2 Common Stonechat .
