Glossy Ibis

A look at my local patch Bowling Green Marsh this morning got me 200+ Common Redshank , 20+ Dunlin , 4 Red Knot , 2 Green Sandpiper , 20+ Whimbrel , 1 Bar-Tailed Godwit , an adult Mediterranean Gull and a juvenile Peregrine Falcon .

I then went for a look at the Matford Marshes on the edge of Exeter  , where the Glossy Ibis was showing very well , also seen was another Green Sandpiper and a Jersey Tiger Moth .

Out of the Moths that I caught last night the best two were Small Dingy Tubic and Straw-Barred Marble .
