Osprey

A couple of long distance shots of an Osprey that was seen on the Exe Estuary this morning . The bird was sat on a post in the middle of the estuary , it then flew off and caught a large fish and then took it to one of the pylons on the Exminster Marshes to eat it .
On Bowling Green Marsh this morning were around a dozen Whimbrel , 7 Bar-Tailed Godwit , 2 Common Snipe , a second summer Mediterranean Gull , a Stock Dove and a few Barn Swallow , Common House Martin and Common Sand Martin .
The day was finished off at my home where I got a male Eurasian Siskin on my feeders , a new bird for my garden list .
