3rd July . 2018

I started the day off with a few moths with a nice Muslin Footman and also the following Micros  Rose-Flounced Tabby , Little Grey and Brown-House Moth .
I then had a look at Bowling Green Marsh but there was not a lot to be seen with only 4 Whimbrel , 2 Bar-Tailed Godwit , 2 Common Greenshank and a Common Snipe worth talking about .
My last stop was at the Exminster Marshes where the Osprey that has been around the Exe Estuary for a few days was sat on one of the pylons , also sat on another pylon was a Peregrine Falcon . I then found a Silver-Washed Fritillary Butterfly a new site tick for me , and maybe a first for the marshes ? .
