I got news this morning that a Great White Egret had flown from Exminster Marsh towards Powderham Marsh so I went over to look for it but there was no sign of it anywhere , but I did see a female Western Marsh Harrier .
Back home 5 Hawfinch showed in Topsham Cemetery . I then had a quick look at Bowling Green Marsh before the rain set in and I saw a Grey Heron , a Little Egret , around 10 Northern Shoveler and a Cetti`s Warbler was calling from the reed bed .
