With rain falling again today it was time for the hide again at Bowling Green Marsh , With the first bird seen being a juvenile Curlew Sandpiper that showed again on the spit close to the hide , also seen were 30+ Dunlin , a Common Sandpiper , 2 Bar-Tailed Godwit , a Whimbrel and a female Ruff along with the usual numerous Eurasian Curlew , Common Redshank & Black-Tailed Godwit , another treat was a female Western Marsh Harrier that flew around the back of the marsh for a short while .
A look around the bushes at the far end of the marsh got me 4 Common Chiffchaff , a Willow Warbler and a Cetti`s Warbler and a Common Kingfisher showed on the Clyst Estuary .
