We decided to have a days birding at Portland Bill in Dorset today and when we were about halfway there my phone went off telling me that a Pine Bunting had been found in one of the nets there , we arrived to find a few birders in the field where they had released the bird into but I don't think it was ever seen again ! so we walked around the fields and saw a ringtail
Hen Harrier , a Ring Ouzel , around 60 Common Linnet , 5 male and a female Common Stonechat , 6 Common Kestrel and at Reap Lane we saw a
Eurasian Turtle Dove a bird that is becoming quite rare in the South West of England now !!
