Black Redstart

The birding today was around the Exmouth area again with my first stop at Mudbank Lane where you can look out over the Exe Estuary and I managed to see an adult winter Mediterranean Gull , a Great Crested Grebe , a male and female Red-Breasted Merganser and 20+ Ruddy Turnstone , my next stop was at the Exmouth Marina area where I saw a female Black Redstart , 2 adult and a juvenile European Shag and 2 Rock Pipit , I then went further along the beach towards Orcombe Point and a look at Lyme Bay got me 3 Great Northern Diver`s and my last birds of the day were 2 Black-Necked Grebe seen at the mouth of the Exe Estuary
