Dawlish Warren

A trip down to Dawlish Warren this morning in hope of seeing yesterdays Kentish Plover turned out to be a disaster as the bird was seen first thing in the morning but was flushed by a power glider just before I got there ! but I did see my first Little Tern of the year and 3 Common Tern , there was not a lot else to report with the best being 3 Sanderling , 2 new Butterflies for the year were nice , being Wall Brown & Small Copper & also seen were a few Orange Tip & Green-Veined White but that was about it for the day , on the way home I stopped for a look at The Powderham Marshes where a male Garganey showed well .
