Barred Warbler

 Here are a few shots of the Immature Barred Warbler seen at Dawlish Warren Nature Reserve . The bird showed quite well in the entrance bushes .

The bird is a long distance migrant from Eastern Europe that is more seen on the East Coast of Britain and is a very good bird to be seen in the South West .

Redwing

 Early this morning I had my first 4 Redwing of the Autumn fly over my house in Topsham .

Later in the day I had a look at Bowling Green Marsh where I saw 4 Greylag Geese , numerous Northern Pintail , 2 male and a female Gadwall , 2 Tufted Duck , a Great White Egret , 9 Pied Avocet , numerous Black-Tailed Godwit , a single Bar-Tailed Godwit , numerous Common Redshank , 8 Common Greenshank , 60+ Northern Lapwing , 2 Common Kingfisher and a Stock Dove

Bowling Green Marsh

 A morning look at Bowling Green Marsh got me the Great White Egret that commutes between hear and the Exminster Marshes .

Also seen were 15 Gadwall , numerous Black-Tailed Godwit , 10 Common Greenshank , a Ruff , a Stock Dove and a European Greenfinch .

Cornwall Trip

A five day trip to Cornwall where the birding was a bit slow , but I still managed to see the following  birds .

 Cattle Egret , Black-Necked Grebe , 4 Little Grebe , Sabine`s Gull ( Juvenile ) , 3 Mediterranean Gull  , Arctic Skua , Great Skua , 3 Common Scoter , Semipalmated Sandpiper ( Juvenile ) , Ruff Rose-Coloured Starling ( Juvenile ) , Yellow-Browed Warbler , Siberian Chiffchaff  , 9 Red-Billed Chough and 4 Snow Bunting . 

Also seen were 2 Harbour Porpoise and an Atlantic Grey Seal

Cattle Egret

 I heard that there was quite a few Cattle Egret on show near Cockwood in Devon along the Dawlish road . But after much searching I only managed to see 3 of them , still better than nothing lol .
