Water Pipit
An early morning look at Bowling Green Marsh got me a 100+ Avocet , 50+ Bar-Tailed Godwit & the Curlew Sandpiper was again in front of the hide , I then went down to Dawlish Warren & on the way there I stopped at Cockwood & looked at the estuary & I at last managed to see the Slavonian Grebe .
At the Warren I was looking for the Water Pipit that has been there for a while now but I had already dipped it but today luck was in & there it was on the golf course showing well , a Warren tick for me !! , also seen were numerous Brent Geese , 100+ Grey Plover , 50+ Knot , 10 Sanderling , another Slavonian Grebe & this male Sparrowhawk waiting for its dinner by the visitors center , the only other thing of note was an Atlantic Grey Seal that was sticking its head out of the water to catch the sun .
